Godlike Games is a software company that came to us to design a themed site for their newest product, Ambrosia. This was a multiplayer online game in an RPG style based in ancient Greece. Needless to say, we were excited about this concept and eager to get in on the ground floor. We discussed site possibilities an put together several site ideas before this one stuck home with the game developer.Like many of our clients, Godlike Games had a site designed by several web designers and chose ours above the rest. Using a great color scheme and font style, Godlike Games is a site we are very proud of. We began with flash in this site by creating a dynamic flash menu to work in conjunction with our site editor. We did this so that if the designers at Godlike Games wanted to create a new section to their site it would automatically create the appropriate images including a mouse overlay for them and update all the links appropriately. This was an amazing code jump because it allowed us to explore many more complex options with our site editor. No longer were companies limited to the original designs we created for them, they could create their own pages and completely customize their site with the exception of header and footer. This is the perfect balance of site control so that people who know how to program can have control and people who don't want to work through any code can still get what they want from their site without paying high developer fees or learning how to program.

This shows the Flash Navigation bar, which allowed for the "tabbed" look of the interface. The developers at Godlike Games really wanted us to push our limits here, which we appreciate because we are so happy with the product that came out of this work. The navbar automatically updates along with the content and sidebars using a PHP/XML back-end controlled through our site-editor. Of course advanced editing can be done directly if a designer wants to, but with the easy html tags we have added to our site editing program there's never any reason to sift through lines of code.
